EFCAP is the European Association for Forensic Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Psychology and other involved professions. Our main aims are to improve the assessment and treatment of children and young people who find themselves in the justice system as well as their families, and to facilitate joint international scientific research and to promote interdisciplinary training and interdisciplinary education.

To celebrate EFCAP's 10^th anniversary we organise a congress in the beautiful city of Amsterdam.

The meeting comprises of one pre-congress day and three congress days. The pre-congress day will consist of full day and half day courses for a group of maximum 30 people. The congress days contain plenaries, parallel symposia, masterclasses and poster sessions. Each plenary will have a keynote speaker in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry and psychology. The parallel symposia will not follow the traditional line (three or four papers followed by two or three questions), but will attempt to raise the value by use of new educational standards. In the masterclasses phd-students will present their work in front of master researchers like Prof. Raine, Prof. Loeber and Prof. Hudziak.
